Fitness Way Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Fitness Way collects, uses, stores, and protects information when users access the mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Fitness Way may collect and process account information such as your name, email address, password, and phone number. We may also collect profile information such as profile photo, gender, and other account details you choose to provide.

We may also process workout-related data, attendance activity, gym membership data, trainer-client interactions, progress-related information, and technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, crash data, and identifiers needed for app functionality.

2. Camera Permission

Fitness Way may request access to your device camera for user-facing features such as scanning QR codes for attendance and similar in-app actions. The camera is only used when you actively use these features and is not used in the background.

3. Photos and Profile Images

If you choose to upload a profile image or other media through the app, we may collect, store, and process that content to support profile and account-related functionality.

4. Notifications

Fitness Way may use push notifications to send updates related to your account, attendance, subscriptions, reminders, activity, and app usage. You can manage notification preferences from your device settings or in-app settings where available.

5. Location Data

If enabled by you, Fitness Way may access your location to support gym, map, or location-related functionality. Location access is only used for features you choose to use.

6. How We Use Information

We use collected information to create and manage user accounts, provide workout, nutrition, attendance, gym, and profile features, support trainer, client, and gym management workflows, improve app performance and reliability, send important notifications, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

7. Data Sharing

Fitness Way does not sell personal data. Information may be shared only when necessary with service providers and infrastructure partners that help operate the app, such as hosting, authentication, analytics, storage, and notification services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights and platform security.

8. Data Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain business and legal records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support legitimate operational needs. We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect user information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
